Sometimes an over-the-counter shoe insert cannot provide enough support for the feet.

When arch correction is needed to reverse pronation (flattening of the foot), we construct custom orthotics. Pronation is often associated with back pain, arch pain, plantar fascitis, knee pain, achilles strain and bunion formation, and custom orthotics can help provide relief.

Plaster casts of the feet are made in a non-weightbearing position. This helps maintain as much natural arch as possible. Casts are then sent to a laboratory where the orthotics are constructed.

Specialty orthotics can be ordered for running and performance athletics, dress shoes and even flip-flops.
 
Orthotics last for years without needing to be replaced and when wear starts to show, the surfaces can easily be refurbished.
